Wanted -Fighting Fantasy books

Postby Kreoseus » Sat Jul 22, 2017 12:20 pm

Hi lads

Looking to pick up one or two of the old fighting fantasy books for my 10 & 8 year old sons, preferably some of the early ones, but doesn't have to be. Condition is unimportant, this is just to see if they like them or if they have become to hooked on technology. If anyone has a few of these going cheap, please let me know

I can see a lot of the Old Steve Jackson's FF ranges on a NZ auction site but interestingly they are from a UK supplier. I had all those books as a kid (and Lone Wolf) and I lament my brother chucking them all out.

They are pretty much what got me into wargaming.

Charity stores and Amazon... Both cheap and dirty options

Just saw this thread from way back - I bought some FF for my 9 year old boy around the same time. He read Warlock and thought it was great, but hasn't bothered with the other 4 books in the set..... How did yours work out?

I got some other ones for him, they are more educational, each one is based on a school subject, so one is maths, another science or geography. Both of the older two love them , haven't hooked up with my mate for the FF books yet.

They have actually started releasing new titles, I've even seen them in Eason's (where I bought my copies back in the day!)

Out of interest, what are the educational one's?
