Dungeon Bash

Postby Kreoseus » Mon Jul 24, 2017 9:47 am

Ay up

I have built a lovely modular dungeon, I have classic ral partha minis arriving in the post today, now I need rules.
The box arriving today has dragon quest rules I will use with my kids, but I need to pick rules for the grown ups.
I have the heroquest rules, but is there any other rules people would suggest for a proper, old school dungeon bash ?

Rattrap's "Broadsword Adventures"?

(Basic version is available as a free download from their site.)

2HW's "Two Hour Dungeon Crawl"?

Thank you ,

I will take a look.
I have Frostgrave, but want something simple and fun.

Sounds like a personal ad now...

Song of blades is simple and has a dungeon bashing add on Song of Gold and Darkness.

Its simple !

I have Warrior Heroes from THW but I only play them under certain scenarios - They have a lot of reaction tests, which for me playing solo is great but I found my games being bogged down in it all. Song of Blades is a lot simpler. Movement is simple (short, medium or long), activation and combat are quite straight forward though for larger, uneven games you will need to adjust some mechanisms though the yahoo groups is very useful.

The main ruleset has characters stats (humans, goblins etc etc) and then they released add on (Song of Wind and Water (sp?), Song of Deeds and Glory) that cover areas such as wilderness encounters\troops and dungeon bashing.
