This is a figure I made to represent Colonel Thomas Brandon of the Fair Forest Regiment (also known as the Second Spartans Regiment). He is one of my favorite leaders of the AWI.

Brandon fought in every major engagement in the South, Cowpens and Kings Mountain among them. At Cowpens, Morgan chose him to fight on horseback and he killed 3 British Dragoons, with his sword. Along with Marion, Pickens and Sumpter, Colonel Brandon kept the Revolution alive in the back-country of South Carolina.

One of a long list of unsung heroes of the American Revolution.

The figure is a Perry or Foundry body converted by replacing the stock head with a Kings Mountain head. I also repositioned the arm. The horse is an Ebob horse.
Figures painted by John Bryant.
Conversion and basing by myself.
