Longstreet

We're about to start a Longstreet campaign at the South East Scotland Wargames Club. Got these 10mm figures from Pendraken finished and there's more to come soon.

They look fine Derek. I know what you mean about ACW uniforms generally, however they are very flexible. Apart form the odd Zouave regt or things like Berdans or the Iron brigade, your post 1862 union regt in sack coat is very multi-purpose.

To me, that is ACW. You can do the early bit where the uniforms were ok, or you can go to europe and do rice orgy regiments, pranco frussian, prostrich ussian, or the like.

Trouble is that for those of us who went from Britains to Airfix, ACW has a certain pull.

For me the attraction is the games. Fire and Fury and Longstreet, two absolute crackers.

We're doing 10mm Longstreet here at the club, though I only have half my army painted up and haven't read the rules through yet, so I won't be playing this year. Hopefully early next year though.

Tiny goodness!

Those Pendraken sculpts are just so neat and well-defined.

I sure Leon will be pleased to think that you regard him as neat and well defined. Good thing he's not a hoover. :D
