Well, not quite! We had a dynamic game fighting them off though!
The report is on my blog at http://herkybird-richardbradley.blogspot.co.uk/2017/07/return-of-zulu.html

Yes, I like it.

Did you make or buy your sandbags?

Looks spectacular- no loss of control, I notice!

(Last time I played, I had a catastrophic command failure in the very first round, resulting in an uncontrolled bayonet charge against the advancing Zulus....)

The sandbags are a mix of Pegasus and some I bought at a show!
Neither were expensive and beat having to make them!

I think real soldiers facing the Zulus must have been really brave!!!!

We kept control easily in the game, as none of our casualties were NCO's, you were REALLY unlucky that day you lost control!

Great pics and AAR Herk! Nice looking figures! Seems your men were under control with good volleys.

Thanks! - I intend to replace the Brits with the lovely Perry ones as soon as I can!

If we had lost control on my flank for even 1 turn I think I may have been overrun! Lots of guys with pointy sticks seemed to keep my men in line and focused during this game!
