General Wargaming Discussion

Sandbags seem to me to be the sine qua non of Colonial gaming. I need some for my Mahdist War Nile paddle boats & for my AZW gaming (to keep those Zulus at bay).

There doesn't seem to be much in 1/72 scale out there so I'm going to be forced to make my own. Any tips or crafty advice?

I use DAS clay rolled into a sausage the right thickness and flattened slightly. Then cut to length and pinch in the ends with you thumb and fingers to form corners - done...

I have a 54mm diorama of Rorke's Drift to make -should be perfect at these by the end...
