Along with all the new Modern vehicles, we've also got a couple of additions to the WWII ranges with the M4 Sherman released, along with a Citroen staff car for your French armies.

We'll have some of these with us at the Colours show next weekend, but if you'd like to pre-order any for collection just drop us an email.

We're still working on replacing some of our older resin models, so next to get the revamp treatment are our emplacements! The old ones were a little rough around the edges and weren't quite up to par with the more recent resin models, so John has done us these cracking new versions! Both types have been designed to suit 30mm square artillery bases, so the 2 gun emplacement has an internal measurement of 65x30mm (90x50mm overall), while the 3 gun version has an internal of 65x65mm (110x110mm overall).

The smaller U-shaped gun revetment will be getting redone soon, along with some new types as well.

They look nice. The might work well with 15mm & 20mm too.

15mm should be fine, I think 20mm's might be a bit high and look odd with the gun barrels 6ft higher than the emplacement!

I was thinking more for infantry, mortar & MG positions in that size.

That might work? I don't think we've got any 20mm's in the workshop to check.

Have you considered making stuff for specific rule sets? I've been looking for appropriate earthworks (primarily ECW/TYW era) for the latter half of the renaissance period that meet the dimension requirements for FoGR. It's a case of either "right stuff, but wrong size" or "right size, but looks wrong".

Sorry for the delay replying, I've been away for a few days and forgot to check back in. We've thought about it a few times but there's so many rulesets out there that it's hard to pick one which will generate sales and be around for a while. And then once you produce a piece for one ruleset, people want the same piece but a slightly different size for a different ruleset.

We've found it's easier to pick a well-used size (in this case 30mm bases for artillery) and produce things to fit. If we ever did trenches, we'd make them fit 25mm bases, as that seems to be what most WWI folks are using for 10mm.

We are happy to announce that we have taken over the line of spray varnishes formerly sold by Figures in Comfort. These 400ml cans come in Quick Dry Matt and Deluxe Matt types, plus a Gloss Varnish. These are all produced by HMG paints to guarantee a quality product.

Sadly these cannot be shipped currently, so they are only available at the shows for the timebeing. We are investigating shipping options though, so hopefully we'll have some good news there soon.

These are all on our website here: http://pendraken.co.uk/spray-varnishes/ and we'll have them with us at all of the upcoming shows. We can also arrange for them to be brought to Crisis for our European customers.

Gloss Varnish
400ml can of gloss varnish which produces a durable high gloss finish.

Deluxe Matt Varnish
400ml can of deluxe matt varnish which gives one of the flattest matt finishes available on the market.

Quick Dry Matt Varnish
400ml can of quick dry matt varnish which is touch dry 10-20 minutes after application depending on drying conditions. The finish is not as matt as our Deluxe Matt Varnish and dries with a subtle 'silk' sheen.

All priced at £9.95!

These were previewed a short while ago and we've got them into production moulds now, so here they are! We've revamped the Jagers and Grenzers for our 1860 Austrians, which brings that whole range up to par now with our recent sculpts.

We've got another batch of new releases ready now, with a few assorted goodies for the LoA and WSS periods. First up Clib's done some conversion work to change the previous LoA command into tricorns, suitable for the latter end of the Augsburg period through into the WSS. He's also put some fur hats on the dragoons, just in time to go with the new dragoon flags we've received from Sandinista! Thanks to both for their work on these.

Bringing up the rear, we've replaced the Marlburian dismounted dragoon sculpts and added a horse holder set for them as well.

League of Augsburg - http://pendraken.co.uk/renaissance/league-of-augsburg/
LOA38 Dismounted Command group, tricorn (3 figures + 1 horse) £1.00
LOA39 Mounted Command, standing, tricorn (7 figures) £2.50
LOA40 Mounted Command, moving, tricorn (7 figures) £2.50
LOA41 French Dragoons in fur hats (15 figures, inc. command) £4.95
LOA42 Allied Dragoons in fur hats (15 figures, inc. command) £4.95

PNFL218 William III Dragoon Regiments £2.50
PNFL219 Allied Dragoon Regiments £2.50
PNFL224 Louis XIV Dragoon Regiments £2.50

MAL21 Dismounted dragoons (30) £4.95
MAL22 Horse holder with horse (5 pairs) £2.50

(The eagle-eyed among you will have noticed the jump in flag codes from 219 to 224, which is due to the GNW flags we released a couple of months ago. That'll annoy my OCD for years to come...!)

It's been a bit longer than planned but the new 1815 Brunswickers are now ready to take to the field!

The army of Brunswick was raised from volunteers by German-born Frederick William, Duke of Brunswick-Wolfenbüttel. The Duke was a harsh opponent of Napoleon Bonaparte's occupation of his native Germany and the corps initially comprised a mixed force when it was formed in 1809, around 2,300 men comprised of infantry, cavalry and later supporting artillery.

The Brunswickers earned themselves a fearsome reputation, taking part in several significant battles including Quatre Bras and Waterloo. Recruiting and finance were always problematic and the corps was disbanded in the early 1820s.

Most units wore black uniforms, though some light units (such as sharpshooters and uhlans) wore green uniforms. The Brunswickers wore silvered skull badges on their hats.
